Have you ever had arthroscopic knee surgery ? - arthroscopic surgery cost
Apart from a meniscus, is what else in arthroscopic surgery? What injuries of athletes, when her knee "scope" and play it in a few weeks? How long rehabilitation and what are the costs? The operation is in the long run, ie no future problems with the knee?

Hello. My son had it last year. The part of the operation was not bad, but the recovery was long and difficult. His knee was stiff and sore for a while. You do not want to fear, but the knee has not been the same since. He lost feeling in it (the doctor said it continues), and yet sometimes difficult. He says he does not like it should feel. I thought I'd have no problem because he is very young (24). Rehabilitation is very costly, and it was great. I do not know exactly how, but I know it was more than $ 100.00 per session. I think it was worth it just to get rid of the pain that was so long. Good luck to you in what you do is to decide :-)
I had my ACL repaired. It took more than a few weeks before I could play again, but I had crutches in a week and has 9 months of recovery typically made for the type of transplant, only about 6 months.
I was in physical therapy for 2-3 months, but varies depending on how your body responds to surgery, etc. I think where I was, was about $ 45 per session, insurance and subject to a party.
Most people have mild pain, etc. As they get older, you get to open your body and something that nature has to be replaced, is not something we're used to. It also depends on the type of intervention, such as surgery [For example, the ACL operations a cadaver transplant, a bone graft from her hamstring can, or use one of his tibial tendon. The recovery time and how it arises later in life depends on the way.]
However, at least in the case of ACL repair "band" is stronger than she was born. But from what I know, the meniscus is almost superfluous to the lack of blood flow in t RepairArea that has always kept fully heal, and return menisci are fairly easy to compensation.
I had surgery on the knee, both of mine, and I am very pleased with the results (of which 1 years). I have been for knee replacement surgery performed by an orthopedic surgeon Fly2india4health Consultants in India. I could scarcely walk, the time of the day, rolled in to surgery, I go with a limp and pain free now, but would in a wheelchair when he had no replacement. My world is getting smaller and smaller. Now I can walk for miles, do not require walking aids, and no painkillers. Decided with the help of consultants Fly2india4health, my practice in India with a doctor, are the known and familiar. Before determining this doctor, I've done some research on the cost of examining the operation in the United States, and I learned that I would be close to $ 45,000 for surgery, hospital, rehabilitation and monitoring of about pay 400% more than that which has paid off in India. This does not include flight and hotel or emergency, I had to take during their stay in India. If you recommend or orthopedic care, which probably Fly2india4health Consultants!
